Available on iOS devices, our version of STIPA fully complies with the latest v4 standard, ensuring its applicability for all NFPA code requirements and aligning with international standards such as IEC 60268-16:2011.

The process involves analyzing a specialized test signal which can be played directly from the iOS device or obtained via download from our website, then burned onto a CD or used through an external audio source.

An upgrade option to STIPA Pro is accessible through the app's setup menu. This adds functionalities such as octave band LEQ analysis, comprehensive reporting, and options to save, recall, and export results (refer to the "Optional" images). Regardless of the version chosen, users receive a robust and precise speech intelligibility assessment tool.

Potential applications include evaluating fire evacuation announcement systems, conducting speech assessments in educational settings for ADA compliance, and testing speech systems in houses of worship.

The app can utilize the internal microphone of the iOS device or be used with our external microphones such as iTestMic or iAudioInterface2.
